PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN-(9-4-2004) Swedish sailor Karl Suneson has become the absolute winner of the 35th HRH Princess Sofia-Madrid 2012 Trophy. Suneson has become the absolute winner due to Ben Ainslie's decision of not starting in the last race of the day.
Ben Ainslie has been the winner of the Finn overall standings.
In the Tornado class, the winners have been US team Lovell/Ogletree. Spanish crew Echavarri/Paz have finished second overall.
The final winners in the 470 women class have been Greek sailors Bekatorou/Tsoulfa, twice Class World Champions.
Norwegian sailors Siren Sundby and Christopher Gundersen have been the winners in the Europe women and Europe men class.
Nick Rogers has been the winner in the 470 men class, German crew Müller/Wieser/Auracher the winners in the Dragon class and Dutch team Thies/Bes/De Jong have taken the lead in the Yngling class.
