Admiral`s Cup - Two More Teams Enter Admiral`s Cup 2003 |
COWES, UK-(29-1-2003) The Royal Ocean Racing Club is delighted to announce that a two further teams have entered the Admiral's Cup 2003.
The Royal Southern Yacht Club (GBR) have entered a team consisting of 'Team Tonic', a Farr 52 owned by Nick Hewson and skippered by Jeremy Robinson, and an as yet un-named Sinergia 40 being built for Nigel Biggs. The Team Manager is Tony Lovell.
The Royal Thames Yacht Club (GBR) have also entered a team with Kit Hobday's Farr 52, 'Bear of Britain’. The second boat has yet to be confirmed.
The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (NZL) are currently finalising the plans for their team and hope to be able to confirm their entry at the conclusion of the America’s Cup regatta.
