Barcelona Olympic Sailing Week - All classes fulfil the and the anticipated calendar
BARCELONA, SPAIN-(14-3-2005) The second day of competition at the PHARO regatta Barcelona Olympic Sailing week started with delay in some of the areas of the regatta due to a week wind intensity. When leaving the port, sailors found that the sailing conditions were very different today compared to yesterday. The regatta committees started installing the routes for a southeast wind at (80º) that later rotated to the right varying its intensity continuously, that only at the end of the regatta it surpassed the 8 knots, when the regatta’s committee was able to finally follow a stable route.

In the Laser Radial Class, the Italian Larissa Nevierov, was able to exceed the Spanish Alicia Cebrian, who is the second for two points. Another Italian, Diego Negri, keeps the leadership in the Laser class, like Rafael Trujillo in the Finn class, even though he had a premature start.

The Spanish Marc Paris keeps his leadership in the Europe class, as well as Natalia Via Dufresne and Laia Tutzó, in 470 feminine. Gabrio Andona and Francesco Della Torre have taken Italia to the top of the classification and are followed by his compatriot.

In the 49 er class, Alberto Padrón and Javier de la Plaza, present champions in Spain are on the top for 5 points ahead.

Fernando Echavarri and Antón Paz have discarded a second place, after six races in the Tornado class, showing their great performance.
