| TORBOLE, ITALY-(29-8-2003) 19 boats form 6 countries came to Lake Garda to fight it out for the Dino Schiesaro, the warm up before the Europeans and the Masters Worlds to held at the same place from August 31st. to September 06th.
The first race was started in a good breeze around 3 bft. and Wageneder lead the fleet the first sausage. Stu `the legend` Walker, crewed by local heroes Silvio Santoni and `Dante` followed and the `Mauzis` Roman Koch trailing in third.
On the second beat, the Mauzis overtook both boats and finished with a comfortable lead. Wageneder and Stu followed. The other favorits Wossala and Balasz got the wrong side and finished 7th and fifth.
The second race was started in a better breeze around 4-5 bft. and Wossala(Westel's team) took the early lead with 50m, followed by Koch and Balazs. They a really hard fight at the second beat but the Mauzis got the lead 20m before the end of the beat and strechted their lead on the run to take another bullit with Wossala second and Balazs third.
Todays forecast is not so good due to some thunderstorms, but we hope the Ora will arrive in time.
