TONSBERG, NORWAY-(5-8-2004) The Austrian Franz team AUT 73 with Markus Schneeberger, Volker Moser, Christian Panek despite their 10th in the first race of the day won the second one and lead the overall results 14 points. But now followed close by the Slovenian team SLO 1 with Bostjan Antoncic, Gennadi Strakh and Zeljko Perovic with 16 points after a excellent day with a first and a sixth who are ahead only by one point over the Hungarian Team HUN 1 “Photo Express” with Balazs Gynese Gyula Monus and Karoly Vezer. Again two races were sailed in the Tonsberg fjord, the wind pickup a little and the German team GER 300 with Roman Koch, Maxl Koch and Christofer Wossala achieved good results with a fourth and a second standing in sixth at the overall results with 24 points just two behind the Netherlands (NED 25) team with Johan Offermans, Hans Zijlstra and Bas Dusee with 22 points and a third and a 8th as today’s finishes and four points behind the Local team and surprise NOR 142 with Pål Christoffersen Karl Book and Espen Kamperhaug who managed to stay at the top five with a 6th and a 5th. For tomorrow two more races are scheduled and the Franz team who means Crew association is looking forward to keep in the tight fight between 6 different countries.
