ANNAPOLIS, MD USA-(22-10-2006) Only two races were sailed this Saturday, in an inconsistent wind who had ups and downs. Marine Pool team GER 300 with Koch, Koch and Bornemann won the first race followed by the Slovenian team SLO 1 with Antoncic, Strakh, Hmeljak and the Canadian CAN 225 with Hall, Karrigan, Deakin.
The second race saw the team from Connecticut USA 831 Gallowey, Steinborn, Anthony win the one over the T-Systems team from Hungary with Wossala, Vezer, Nemeth; in third came the Gul team from Canada CAN 230 with Fogh, Cheer, Devries who leads the event with 17 points.
The Argentine team ARG 37 with Warburg, Smith, Lacour climbed to the 4th place after achieving two 4th in today's race.
Unfortunately two boats that sank the previous day were not recovery and as result of yesterday's stress Banrisul team BRA 26 with the Ilha family had to abandon first race and couldn't compete in the second due to a broken schroud.
