49er European Championship - Light Northeastern breeze on the second day of Finals
LAREDO, SPAIN-(18-7-2003) The strong winds of yesterday have become a light NE breeze today with a maximum of 7 knots.
The bronze fleet that was sent out first today sailed two races and no races have been sailed in the Silver fleet.
The Gold fleet has only been able to sail two races out of the four scheduled for today. But having reached the 12 necessary races to apply two discards, the overall standings have brought the top sailors closer with only 2 points between first and second and five points for the third classified.
If the forecast for tomorrow is maintained, we will be in for a very exciting last day of finals.
