| ARLIE BEACH, QLD, AUSTRALIA-(11-7-2003) This year's social programme won't be one to forget with the new marina providing a social hub for the fleet. Tooheys New will be erecting a huge marquee (complete with bar facilities) at the marina and the Wolverines will be playing each afternoon. There will be a daily Coconut Lotto with each competing boat in the draw as well as the traditional `Foam Parties` during the regatta.
The Hog's Breath Race Week Daily Chronicle will provide information on what's happening around town, who is making the most of their visit to Airlie Beach and what is happening on the racing side of things.
This year's Lay Day has plenty of activities organised with a Skydiving display at the Whitsunday Sailing Club as well as live bands, Team Tug of War and the Coconut Lotto.
The Whitsunday's Sailing Club and various `watering holes` and restaurants playing host to the competitors at Hog's Breath Race Week with discounts being available to Hog's Breath competitors with the crew ID tags.
John David's new one design 45 foot Swan, Joe will be racing in the IRC division at Hog's Breath Race Week this year. The newly built boat will arrive direct from Nautor Swan only a week before competing in the Sydney to Gold Coast Race and then the boat will cruise to Airlie Beach for Hog's Breath Race Week then over to Hamilton Island Race Week. `There are a number of these boats over in the USA and Mediterranean, competing in the IMS Worlds. This being the first in Australia and John's first Swan` said Chris Links sailing master of Joe.
